Sponsor a white coat. Encourage a future physician.

This summer, a new class of Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine students will step into their white coats for the first time in Joplin and Kansas City — joining a tradition shaped by generations of KCU alumni who came before them.

With a gift of $45, you can sponsor a white coat for an incoming student. More than a garment, each white coat represents the humanistic values that define osteopathic medicine: service, integrity, empathy, commitment and community.

When you give by June 15, 2026, you’ll also have the opportunity to include a short note of encouragement for our new KCU-COM students. Your message will be shared with them as they begin medical training — a meaningful reminder that a dedicated KCU community is cheering them on.
